DIRECTOR'S STATMENT
The film "Sometimes" showcases a young relationship aesthetic. The film aims to illustrate the beautiful moments present when one is in-love, as well as the mental strain that a relationship puts on an individual.

The film will juxtapose the euphoric beauty of memorably beautiful moments in a relationship with the messy reality that comes with being in a relationship with someone.

The non-linearity of the plot allows me to show how the perception of good and bad moments in relationships can often permeate through each other with no clear stop and start to each. The film shows love as perseverance - as long as both parties still feel that strong bond and are willing to try, the film insinuates that they can make it work.

LOGLINE
A young couple learns the difficult nature of long term relationships outside of the happy moments.
CONTROOLLING IDEA
Relationships go beyond the simplified images we often see in the media. The nuance in the messiness contrasted with the happiness needs to be reflected more often in the media.
